If you’re interested in getting started on bringing Operation Frontline to your community, please read on for the first steps!

Step 1

Find out if there is an existing Operation Frontline program in your area.
Share Our Strength partners with one organization in a city or region to bring Operation Frontline courses to its service area. Find out if there’s a program in your area ».

Step 2

Assess your readiness to offer Operation Frontline. Over our 15 years, Operation Frontline has learned a thing or two about what makes for a successful local program. We partner with organizations that have:

  • Mission aligned with Operation Frontline.
  • Access to a service population of at least 300 new families per year.
  • Willingness to provide the staff and infrastructure necessary to support the Operation Frontline program.
  • Plans to offer Operation Frontline on an ongoing basis over a multi-year period.
  • Distinct service area from pre-existing Operation Frontline programs.
  • Connections to the culinary and nutrition communities

New programs are usually started by an interested organization or by a committed community leader who introduces the program to local organizations.

Step 3

Tell us about your interest. Use our Start a New Program Form » to tell us about your organization’s interest and how Operation Frontline would enhance your current service to the community. We’ll get back to you with additional information on how to get Operation Frontline started.

Or, think about what organizations in your community might meet the qualities listed above. Fill out the Start a New Program Form » to let us know you’re interested and we’ll connect you with others in your community as we’re able.

We look forward to hearing from you!
